Frequently Asked Questions
Username/Password
Q: I would like to join the Grandparents.com Benefits Club, but I don't think I have a password. Can you help me?
Q: I cannot find my password or login name. What do I do?
Q: Why is the Grandparents.com Benefits Club telling me that there is no user with this e-mail address when I receive your newsletter at this address?
A: In order to register for the Benefits Club, you will need to create a new account with the Benefits Club using your email address as your username. If you already receive the Grandparents.com newsletter or are a registered user on our site, you are not automatically registered with the Benefits Club. Currently you must register specifically for the Club.
Q: I don't remember my password and using the code you provided didn't work.
Q: I forgot my password. How can I get a new one?
A: If you have previously signed up for membership, your username is your e-mail address. If you cannot remember your password, click on the Login tab and click "Request a new password" below the login fields. You'll be e-mailed a new password immediately. If when requesting a new password you get an error message that the e-mail address is not recognized, it means your membership sign-up was not completed and you were not charged.
Q: I would like to change my password. How do I do that?
Once you are logged in, you may change your password at any time by clicking the "My Account" tab at the top of any Benefits Club page. On that page, you'll see a link that says "Change Your Password".
Membership Card
Q: I would like to print out my membership card, but my name is not on it yet, how do I get it on there?
A: Click on the Edit Your Profile link under the My Account tab to fill in your profile details before you print your membership card. If you have any trouble, please contact us directly at help@grandparents.com.
Q: I clicked on the link indicated in the welcome e-mail that states that if I haven't printed my membership card yet, I can access it at My Account. However, no membership card appears. What am I doing wrong?
A: As long as you have completed your subscription registration, you have been assigned a member number, and you have access to your card. Login to the Benefits Club, then click the "My Account" tab. On the My Account page, you should see your card on the right. Click the image and it will open in a new window from which you can print it. If you still can't find it, please contact us directly at help@grandparents.com.
Q: I'm prompted to print my membership card and I am assigned a number but it doesn't say what the number or card is for and when to use it.
A: As we add partners to the Grandparents.com Benefits Club, the membership card will become more indispensable. You may be asked to show it to receive certain discounts. If that is the case, it will be clearly indicated in the deal redemption instructions.
Canceling Membership
Q: I signed up but have since changed my mind; how can I cancel?
A: We're sorry to hear that. We hope you might change your mind and give your trial year a chance. However, if you are sure you'd like to cancel your membership, you must contact us directly at help@grandparents.com to make this request.
